Ve 14. stolet\u00ed se medovina trochu za\u010dala vytr\u00e1cet, proto\u017ee klima za\u010dalo b\u00fdt p\u0159\u00edzniv\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, a i u n\u00e1s se za\u010dalo v\u00edce p\u011bstovat hroznov\u00e9 v\u00edno, jeho\u017e zpracov\u00e1n\u00ed bylo levn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed a tak\u00e9 se d\u00edky rozvoji obchodu dost\u00e1valy do Evropy obl\u00edben\u00e9 cizokrajn\u00e9 destil\u00e1ty.Dnes m\u00e1 medovina sv\u00e9 st\u00e1l\u00e9 konzumenty, nikdy u\u017e asi nebude tak roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00e1, jako to bylo v minulosti.
